Amman – Middle East University signed a memorandum of understanding with Law & Society institute, to Building Legal Capabilities for students, providing them with the necessary skills to become legal practitioners and defenders of human rights in the digital age. The memorandum was signed on behalf of the university by the Vice President of the University, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Lawzi, and on behalf of Law & Society institute lawyer Muath Mumani.
In this regard, Dr. Al-Lawzi stated that the memorandum of understanding is intended to initiate students on a journey that will help them become professional legal practitioners. The time has come to realize the pivotal role of human rights, digital safety, and legal skills in shaping a just and equitable society.
For his part, Lawyer Mumani explained that mastering legal technology tools has become essential, stating that the memorandum of understanding comes in partnership with an academic institution that recognizes the importance of making a qualitative leap in the concept of legal practice through the implementation of several ambitious joint projects.
